Announcements for January 15, 2008


The American Legion Boys State will be June 1-7 in at Kansas State University. You must be a Junior boy during the 2007-2008 school year and be in the the top 1/2 of your class. If you are interested, please stop by Mrs. K or Mrs. S. Walker by January 22nd.

FBLA district events have been assigned to members. Please stop by Mr. Jackson's or Mr. Oneil's room to see your events for districts on January 21st.

Seniors: KCKCC had decided to offer another evening class at Tonganoxie High School this semester. They will offer Composition II on Monday evenings from 5:00-8:00 p.m. If you are interested in taking this course, please see Mrs. Kathy Walker to pick up the enrollment forms. They will be due today.

Seniors: Senior pictures must be taken with Jim Cook by Jan. 16 so that they can be processed by Feb. 1st. Make sure that your pictures are taken by Jan. 16th if you want to be in the yearbook.

Seniors: Please be sure that the application and money for Composition II is turned in by Tuesday, Jan. 15, to Mrs. K. Walker if you would like to save a spot in the class. Introduction to Literature applications are past due!

Seniors: If you would like to be nominated for a Community Service Scholarship, please provide a list of your community service activities and a brief summary to Mrs. K. Walker by Thursday, Jan. 18. Seniors!

A representative from Pittsburg State University will be at THS on Tuesday, Jan. 15. If you would like to speak with her, please sign up on the counselor's bulletin board.

THS Invitational BB Tournament – Games at 3:00, 4:30, 6:00 & 7:30
6:00 pm – Varsity Girls BB vs. Rossville
7:30 pm – Varsity Boy BB vs. Atchison
