Announcements for February 1, 2008

There will be a Girls Soccer meeting in Coach Lott's room today at 3:25, all players planning to play girls soccer this spring, should be present. If you are unable to attend please contact Coach Lott.

Girls Letterclub member:
Please stop by Mrs. Sue Walker's office to check out the points you earned for the concession stands and Freshmen tournament sometime this week.

Any Junior that is interested in attending ATS next year, stop by Mrs. Sue Walker's office and pick up a permission slip to visit KCKATS on Feb. 14th. Bus will leave at 8:10 a.m. and return at 11:30 a.m. Permission slips are due back to Mrs. Sue Walker by Feb. 11th

Any student who will be 16 years of age before June 1, 2008 and would like to volunteer as a MDA Summer Camp Counselor, stop by Mrs. Sue Walker's office for details about the application. The camp is at Tall Oaks Conference Center in Linwood, KS., and is held June 7-14. Deadline for the application is March 21, 2008.

Freshmen/Sophomores:
The Kiwanis Club of Kansas is sponsoring a KeyLeader service leadership program this summer, cost is $175, applications are with Mrs. S. Walker

Workers are needed to help with the PTA Winter Fun Fest on Saturday. Times are early so you can still make it to the Winter Royalty Dance. If you are interested -- see Mrs. Lamb.

JUNIORS: The Kansas Highway Patrol and the Kansas American Legion co-sponsor an Annual Cadet Law Enforcement Academy to help young men and women gain knowledge regarding the training and responsibilities of law enforcement officers. The next academy is scheduled for June 1 – June 6, 2008. The application must be submitted by March 31, 2008.

Winter Royalty will be on Feb. 2nd in the west campus gym from 8:30 – 11:00. Admission is $5. It is a maskarade, so make sure you wear a mask. If you’re bringing a guest, please stop by the office and pick up a guest permit. They must be turned back into the office by Friday.

FCCLA Members going to districts need to pay the $8.00 registration today.
